WCAG 2.2

The new version of WCAG 2.2 introduces new guidelines for digital accessibility that are not yet included in the current version of the RGAA.

Some guidelines are part of levels A and AA and will likely be incorporated into the RGAA in a future version.

Therefore, we strongly recommend that you apply them.

They are listed below:

  • Be careful not to ask the user to solve a puzzle, remember a complex password, or transcribe something when logging in
  • Ensure that repeated fields that have already been filled in by the user in a multi-step form are auto-completed
  • Ensure that the keyboard focus is not completely hidden by placing an element on top of it (for example, via a sticky header or footer on the screen)
  • Ensure that user assistance mechanisms are always positioned in the same place on each page of the site
  • Provide a click area of at least 24px by 24px for an interactive element
  • Provide an alternative to the drag-and-drop feature with a simple gesture
